Mindfulness meditation is a practice in transformational awareness. It is often cited as a tool for “stress-reduction,” “improved focus,” and “better relationships”, but these are just side effects of a much deeper practice. The core mindfulness training is about developing a mind capable of noticing cause and effect in the world, and becoming spacious enough to embrace transformation.
As a mindfulness coach, I offer introductory mindfulness meditation sessions each Friday via Skype. Sessions are scheduled first-come first serve, and are offered on a payment-optional / pay-what-you-can / donation basis. These sessions can be a complement to yoga, psychotherapy, creative, and focusing practices.
After practicing for several years, I completed meditation instructor training at the Interdependence Project in New York City, and continue daily practice of meditation and mindfulness training.
